About Me	Drove to Alaska in '04; did about a semester of Acupuncture school but I indeed have a needle phobia when it comes to needling others; did a brief stint tour managing some for my pal's band, the Fruit Bats; have spent 11 years at the Old Town School of Folk Music surrounded by awesome people; DJ'ed at and contributed to making 88.7 FM WLUW (Loyola U's radio station) a self-supporting local radio station until we broke from Loyola in 2007 and started our own non-profit, whereby my colleagues and I have started a new radio station in Chicago...I am now a board member at Chirp and we broadcast live over the internet ALMOST 24-7 from our North Center neighborhood studios...next, we hope to get a real FM tower as we continue to work on LPFM (low-power FM) legal issues; got married in 2007 to educator/musician/actor, Jeremy Babcock; honeymooned in Nicaragua; campaigned for Obama; became an aunt in 2008; have fallen in love with yoga and running and tea and TON...(read more)
