Enlisted w battery B, 2nd battalion, 123 artillery regiment, 5th Army May 17, 1966. Basic training Ft. Leonard Wood Mo., AIT in Ft. Sill OK. Training on 105, 155 and 8 inch howitzers. Extensive riot control training 1968-1971. Discharged May 17, 1971 as Chief of Firing Battery w rank of Master Sargeant.
