Tour six beautiful antique homes from the 17th through the 19th centuries as well as the 1714 Meeting House. Homes include:

The Joseph Henfield House – 300 Main Street
The Captain Flint House – 727 Main Street
The Hart House – 172 Chestnut Street
The Bowman Viles House – 281 Chestnut St.
The Joseph Tapley House – 650 Lowell Street
The Jesse Tapley House – 593 Lowell Street
Also the Meeting House will have displays of historic Lynnfield topics i.e. the history of the Kallenburg Quarry, the history of Pillings Pond, the shoe making history in Lynnfield etc., refreshments and a guided tour.

Hal Bowden: Jr. High Math Instructor

Hal Bowden, a retired math instructor at the old junior high school, passed away peacefully on August 28, 2010, at the age of 71. Assistance with arrangements was by the Remick & Gendron Funeral Home, Hampton, N.H. An online guest book is available at www.RemickGendron.com

Charles Lane dies in NH

English department chair and debate coach in the 1960's, Charles Lane died on Novemer 28 in Meredith, NH. In addition to teaching, he had a long term interest in photography and art which contributed to his long ownership, with his wife Sofia, of the Old Print Barn in Meredith, NH. They published a summer paper for tourists and a professional journal of four annual editions. Notes to his family can be addressed to Sofia Lane at the Old Print Barn, Meredith, NH.
