Kenneth Paul beaton
Class of 1958
A 1958 alumnus of LEHS, Ken is a retired secondary teacher residing in Carson City, Nevada. He’s written a total of nine articles in three magazines and numerous commentaries in the community’s newspaper, the Nevada Appeal.
While enrolled in a Creative Memoir class, Al Casey, his “Rust” friend for 61 years, looked forward to reading Ken’s weekly assignments. Reliving their pranks, Al urged Ken to write his memoir.
THE BULLDOG BRIGADE: Every Day Red and Gray is a coming of age memoir about boys behaving badly. Their Modus Operandi was to create a diversion “tying the shoes laces together of their victims” to carry out the real prank. His book is available in print or eBook at Amazon.
