Wednesday Morning, August 6 Your choice of two activities:
A golf outing at a local golf course or...
A one-mile nature walk starting at the Community Lake Park Pavilion and following the Quinnipiac River Linear Trail. This trail passes through the Emerson Leonard Wildlife Area and is accessible to classmates of all abilities. Pavilions are available for “coffee” before we step off, as well as for idle chitchat and conversation following the walk.
Wednesday Afternoon , August 6
An informal group gathering will bring us together for lunch at Gouveia’s Vineyard on Whirlwind Hill Road in Wallingford – Rain or Shine.
Doors open at 11:30 and we will have all afternoon to enjoy the winery’s chateau, vineyard vistas, a quaint farm pond, and spectacular views of Wallingford.
Bring your own lunch items. Vinnie’s Deli and East Center Market are great pickup choices but there are so many eateries in town to choose from. Paper plates and utensils are available in the chateau.
No personal beverages are allowed at Gouveia’s; wine may be purchased by bottle or glass, and soft drinks are also available. Ice cold water will also be on hand—no charge.
Thursday Afternoon, August 7
A full buffet luncheon will be held at the Farms Country Club from noon until 4:00 PM, with lunch served at 2:00 PM (the Menu will follow in future emails).
• Registration is required in advance, $70 per person (payment /registration details to follow).
• Following the reunion, all are invited to Pilgrim Harbor for a poolside post-reunion reception
Friday Morning, August 8
