About Me	I am enjoying my life with my husband Bob, living in the U.P. during the summer and Florida in the winter. After graduating from high school in 1964 I went to Davenport Business school. I met my husband to be while he was stationed in Ludington in the USCG. I was married to Bob Jones on April 30, l966, have a son Rob born in 1968 he graduated from MSU and is a Mechanical Engineer with a masters in Business from Lehigh University, have a daughter born in 1970 and she is a Medical Assistant for Metro Hospital in G.R. working in the Wayland Mi. office. She is married to Brian an Assistant Mgr. for Home Depot and they have two children Jacob a Junior and Emily an 8th grader. I had several jobs while I was growing old, Dow Chemical, children store mgr. Kmart personnel mgr and stockroom mgr. etc. In Dec. l998 Bob retired from Dow and we started building on the property in DeTour MI. that we bought in l987 when you could afford waterfront property. We look at Canada and freighters go by on their way to the Soo Locks. In 2006 our life changed drastically when Bob was having sever headaches and was diagnosed with a brain tumor which ended up it had matast. from the lung. He had the brain tumor removed in Aug. 2006 and had radiation and had part of his lung removed 5 weeks later, had chemo and then the brain tumor was coming back so he had a gamma knife procedure done in Midland. He is doing very well so far. We go to Florida now and before that we went to Texas for 4 years. Our son Rob lives in Houston so we got to see him. After the cancer diagnoses, we started going to Fl. where my sister is and with me pulling our 5th wheel back and forth to Florida we now leave it down there at Whispering Palms RV Resort in Sebastian Fl. about 15 miles north of Vero Beach. This year we are going for 6 months so that Bob won't have to breath the really cold air that bothers his lung. Bob has Drs. here out of Petoskey and St. Ignace and he is also a patient with Cancer Care Center in Melbourne so no matter where we are they know him. We had two English Springers, Millie and Maggie until this past July when one died from pancratitis. We have Maggie left and she is a great dog. That is about it in a big nut shell.
