About	He was born March 9, 1983, in Peoria, Ill., to Kenneth W. and Sandra L. (Logsdon) Van De Veer. He married Jamie M. Delap on March 26, 2010, in Eureka, Ill. She survives. Surviving are his parents of Washburn; one sister, Cindy (Merle) Guy; and one brother, Michael (Denise) Van De Veer, both of Washburn, Ill. Also surviving are a niece, Carrie (John) Hultgren of Pattonsburg, Ill.; two nephews, Bruce (Jess) Guy of Manito and Steve (Deidre Trantina) of Washburn; and two great-nephews, Breckin Guy and Ethan Hultgren. He was preceded in death by three uncles and one aunt. Kenny was a millwright for 4 1/2 years, belonging to the Millwright Union Local 1051 in Lincoln, Ill. Junior, as many friends knew him, enjoyed playing cards and watching movies. He had a great sense of humor, loved to quote movie lines and make people laugh. Kenny was a loyal friend with a kind heart and a warm smile and infectious laugh. He made the people around him feel good. Kenny touched the heart of everyone he knew. He was of the Christian faith. Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, April 28, 2011, at Mason Funeral Home Metamora Chapel with the Rev. Dennis Kennell officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday from 5 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home and one hour prior to services. Burial will be in Linn Mount Vernon Cemetery in Washburn, Ill.
