jack cuskey
Class of 1984
jack cuskey, class of 1984, was on the first central league basketball championship in a long time. cuskey after gratuating with aa in liberal arts from dccc in 1989 and a bs in business management from spring garden college in 1991went on become on of the top 100 food salesman in the country, out of over 168,000 ! after his wife got sick with cancer and infertility he retired in 2006. jack and his wife karen, who married on november 11, 2000 then had three darling little girls in 18 months, between aprill 11, 2005 and october 6, 2006. having a big heart and always giving back, cuskey donated almost $50,000 to dccc in december, 2004. cuskey felt that he received a lot from the college and wanted to show his support to the theatre community and the basket ball team, which he was a starter on the 1985-1986 state chapionship team. dccc, in a show of appreciation, named their theatre after jack, karen, elizabeth, kristen and lauren cuskey, calling it the cuskey studio theatre. cuskey recently created a values based non profit foundation, the cuskey foundation 4 the kids, which helps sick, poor and dissadvantaged children in the greater philladelphia area by holding free camps, for boys and girls age 4-12. these camps will have arts & crafts, healthy food and drinks, various athletic activities, childrens theatre, and daily guest speaker such as a daily youth minister, a polieman, a fireman, a medical doctor, a nutrionist, a chiropractor and much more. thank you to lower merion for giving me a great high school education. if it wasn't for lower merion i'm certain i wouldn't have turned out to be this fortunate !!! go aces !!!
