WEYMOUTH -- James J. Davlin, 62, of Weymouth, a former Lowell resident who was a professor at a community college for more than two decades, died unexpectedly Saturday, Nov. 26, 2005 at South Shore Hospital in South Weymouth.
He was born in Lowell, son of the late John E. and Louise H. (Ciszek) Davlin, formerly of Lowell. He was raised and educated in Lowell and graduated from Lowell Technological Institute.
Mr. Davlin was a professor at the Massasoit Community College for more than 20 years.
He is survived by two daughters, Anna Lisa Carey of Weymouth, Christiana Davlin of Boston's West Roxbury; a sister, Marilyn Stanton, residing in Florida; a granddaughter, Amelia Carey of Weymouth; and his former wife, Cecilia (Buitron) Davlin of West Roxbury.
