Roscoe Heaton will graduate with Honors from the University of St Thomas School of Law in Minneapolis, Minnesota on May 14, 2011. While in Law School, he has continued to tour the country, speaking out against the criminal justice system and for the rights of prisoners. Roscoe was sent to prison at age 17 while a student at Lovejoy; however, the alleged victim has since admitted he and Rusty Woods lied and sent Roscoe to prison because they wanted to "teach [Roscoe] a lesson." Well, the lesson was learned, Roscoe got his GED in prison, went to Emory University and graduated with Honors, and will now graduate Law School with Honors. Roscoe was PARDONED of all crimes in 2006. Roscoe has accepted a position as the Deputy State Public Defender for the State of Colorado, where he starts in June 2011.
