Lou passed away suddenly due to an unforeseen bacterial infection. He left behind his wife of 42 years Terri Bratton-Bacot, his daughter Allison and son Adam and 3 grandchildren.

Wow, I just discovered this today 2/22/25. Lou's been gone for 2 years. Unbelievable. We had a lot of fun...a Sierra brother, for sure. I reconnected with him briefly just before he moved to Deleware...just before he passed.
You will never find someone with more integrity or a better moral compass than Lou...Godspeed brother
