About Me	Married, have 2 wonderful children, 1 Boy, JT (16), 1 Girl, Carisa (7) and one on the way... don't know if it's a boy or girl yet! I have 2 Step children, 1 Boy, Nick (15), 1 Girl, Toni (10). 2 dogs - Peekapoos, Lucky and Penny, 1 Cat, Angel. We live in Geismar, Louisiana, 10 miles southeast of Baton Rouge. Experienced 1st Hurricane in my life! Thank God we survived Gustav with only minor issues. No Power for 4 days and told by Entergy 3 weeks before we would have the Power back on. Just as the hot, humid, sticky Louisiana weather kicked in... we had A.C. again! The small things in life that we take for granted... even ice was hard to come by. Waited in line for 1 hour at the grocery store for a 5 bag limit of ice (they ran out right as I was about to pay) fortunately they actually still had 5 bags left and I was able to purchase them. I did give two away to a lady that had waited in line right behind me. I sat for 2 1/2 hours in line for gas for the generator and car. Wow... what an experienc...(read more)
