| About Me | I have Intracranial Hypertension. IH is a disorder where the body produces too much CSF (fluid that surrounds your brain and spine). It causes extreme pressure to the spine, brain, and optic nerves and severe pain to those afflicted. There is no cure yet. =( I love anything and everything about Ancient Egypt; the art, the music, the culture. I saw the King Tutankhamun exhibit in Chicago the summer of 2006. I missed the first U.S. tour and had to wait over 20 years for the exhibit to return to the United States. The exhibit took my breath away! I also love space. If the shuttle is landing, taking off or docking, you can be sure that I will be watching. I have a telescope and I am constantly watching the sky, if not with my telescope, then with binoculars or my naked eye. I have spotted the space station and shuttle many times by looking up at the right day (or night) and time. I am always on the lookout for meteor showers, aurora, comets, the planets... I also gaze at the moon. She is amazingly beautiful and calming with her phases, craters and glow.
