Born in Longview, he later moved to Hawkins from Atlanta. Worked at Missouri Pacific Railroad. Survivors: wife, Donna, Hawkins; son, Bobby Dee; daughter, Carolyn Cabet; his mom, Mamie Louise Jackson; brother, Terry; and sister, Nyla Randall, all of Longview.
