Services for G Brockett Irwin, 36, well known Longview Attorney, were at the Trinity Episcopal Church with the Revs Michael C Macey and Larry Nixon officiating. Burial was in Lakeview Memorial Gardens. He died Tues in a boating accident on Lake O’ the Pines. Born Feb 6 1946, Dallas, he was the son of the late David & Addie Irwin, Lgv. Lived in Longview since 1950. A 1964 graduate of LHS & a LHS student body president & had been active in track, swimming & YMCA church basketball. Graduate of the University of Texas Law School & while in law school worked for the Texas Attorney General’s office. Member of Trinity Episcopal Church, Gregg County, Texas & American Bar associations; Texas & National Criminal Defense Lawyers associations; & Longview Yacht Club. Survivors: wife, Anabeth;; daughter, Kathryn Margaret, Lgv; brother, Tom, Dallas; sister, Dr. Pi Irwin, Tucson, AZ; niece, Katherine Pi Farr, Tucson; and nephew, Jeffery Morris Farr, Tucson.
