A Celebration of Life for Edna Earle Hill, 70, of Kilgore will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, March 11, 2016, in the Welch Funeral Home Chapel, 4619 Judson Road. Burial will be in Grace Hill Cemetery. Mrs. Hill passed away Monday, March 7, 2016. Mrs. Hill was born September 8, 1945, in Birmingham, Alabama to George Earl and Edna Jack Langston Gaston. She lived most of her life in Longview and Kilgore. Mrs. Hill was a member of the First Church of God in Longview and a homemaker. She dedicated her life to her family. Mrs. Hill was preceded in death by her husband, Steve Hill, in 2002. Those left to cherish her memory are two sons, Slade Hill and wife, Sara; and Cullen Hill all of Kilgore; four daughters, Minnette Caldwell and husband, Michael of Willow Park, Texas; Candice White and husband, Dean of Midland; Heather Stoner and husband, Mike of Houston; Rachel Harrison and husband, Jason of Kilgore; 14 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.Memorials may be made to the American Kidney Foundation, 11921 Rockville Pike, Ste. 300, Rockville, MD 20852.
