| About Me | I am constantly studying finance and investments because that is my major at UNM (and I think you should too!!!) I also spend time studying math, physics, the history of science, psychology, and introductory neuroscience all for fun (just introductory stuff). If you come to my house I have a lot of books (on previous subjects mentioned). I hang out a lot at Barnes and Noble Coronado, studying and adding books I want to my booklist. If you're reading this and you need a job I would look into the North Dakota Oil Boom, they have so many jobs out there they can't fill them and they desperately need people to build houses..the pay is 6 figures on the oil rigs and thats for people with just a high school diploma...hope that helps! I am intoxicated by and I take great pleasure in thinking about the aforementioned subjects...I have a hungry mind and I love to feed it. I really wish more people would read books on these subjests, there are some great books available even at Barnes and Noble that a lot of people are just missing out on...its so sad..how are you gonna raise your kid to compete if YOU yourself are not captivated by math and science. I prize intelligence in myself and (especially) others. But I know its hard if you haven't grown up around scientists and mathematicians. Everyone has a kitchen in there home but what about a good libray to feed the MIND. I dont drink, smoke, do drugs or gamble. School and getting a job/career is hard enough. Lastly, I have created a theory...I believe that it follows that African Americans living in a universe governed by precise maathematical law should be in intellectual pursuit of the disciplines of study to understand why this is and why nature is so accurately described by mathematics. Blacks are UNDERREPRESENTED in math and science. "The answers to the problems of black people lie in a mathematical equation" you can quote me on that ..i du...(read more) |
