Darrell Eugene Adams
Class of 1970
Air Force, 20+ Years
Darrell, My brother served his country and was very proud to do so for 20 years. He received many Awards and Cettificates and was exceptional in every area of duties he was given and went the extra mile to do his best. He traveled over seas and many states while serving but, never forgot where his home was in the Wild Wonderful West Virgina state in a small town, up a hollar at Mill Creek then to West Logan where he graduated with Honors at Logan High. He retired Air Force as Master Sargent then went into the Elevator buisness in Myrtle Beach, SC and also retired from Otis Elevator. He loved Life and enjoyed Playing Pool in which he won championships. He loved to dance and teach others especially his sisters to line dance.
He passed on way too young in March 2011. He always made lemonade out of lemons and had a talent for showing or teaching others how to do the same. He is truly missed by his brothers and sisters especially. But, understandably God had other plans for him. His life here was not always peaches and cream but, he gave his all to make the best out of what he was given here on earth.
He worked hard to be the best he could be, now he is made perfect by our lord and savior, Jesus Christ.
