| About Me | I started my MBA at UW Whitewater when I was 35 and getting remarried to someone with two teenage girls when I had one of my own . That was quite an interesting experience when one has been out of school for 20 years, working full time and adjusting to having a stepfamily. I finished it after three years and was grateful when I no longer had homework. I wanted to finish before I turned 40 and fortunately, I succeeded with room to spare. At the end of 2006. I took a new position with my company that relocated me to the Central Valley of CA. My husband and our three teenaged girls packed up and moved between Christmas and New Years of 2006. It was quite an adventure. The Central Valley of CA is NOTHING like the Midwest!! The biggest adjustment came for our girls as they started at a high school that had gang problems. Oh boy - quite a change from Waunakee. The weather here can't be beat even though we'll top out in the 100's during July. It is true that a dry heat is very different from the humid heat in the Midwest.
