Billy was an excellent student and athlete. He won 2 basketball games with no time left to play by hitting jump shots. Billy joined the United States Air Force after graduating from LF, serving in the US and Germany. He separated from the AF with the rank of S/SGT and entered the University of Alabama earning a Bachelors Degree. He was retired from the social security administration.
