About	Dwight started working for TANK, the Transit Authority of Northern Kentucky, shortly after high school. He worked as a mechanic doing heating and AC as well as an electrician on transit buses for 29 years. Dwight was a superb mechanic, competing in international mechanic competitions six different times. Dwight was very well respected among his co workers. He was actually a fun guy to work with too. He had a great sense of humor and was always smiling. For some time he was also the Vice President of the union at TANK. He is missed at TANK where there is a huge picture of Dwight on the shop wall. Dwight was 49 and married at the time of his passing. He was laid to rest in Forest Lawn Cemetery in Erlanger.

Dwight and I knew each other in school a little bit, but after we graduated we found ourselves in the same circle of friends. After Dwight started working with me we became the best of friends. I know he was quiet in high school and didn't hang out with a lot of people so I would just like to say what a great man he was. He was so honest that I couldn't include him in any of my practical jokes at work because he would not lie even for a temporary joke. He was an unbelievable mechanic and electrician and was always willing to teach the new people. As the years have gone by, the people who knew Dwight are retiring and the newer employees don't know him. But those of us who were lucky enough to work with Dwight still talk about him. We miss him all the time.
