During high school summer months, Mario and I used used to pedal our bicycles on Stanley Blvd to Pleasanton to pick farm crops for $5.00 a day. We often shared one bike-one of us pedaled while the other rode the handlebar or sidesaddle on top cross bar. Hard work in the heat, but built the character we needed for grad school.
