About Brian was born on August 18th, 1947, in Denver Colorado to his parents Russel and Francis (Dobbs) Giltner. When Brian was just 18 years old, Brian decided to join the United Stated Marine Corp. He would go on to serve in the Vietnam War where he received a purple heart for being wounded in battle. Though Brian found it difficult to speak about his time in the service he was profoundly proud of his years defending the United States and enjoyed being recognized as a decorated veteran.

After serving in the Vietnam War with the USMC, He served with the United States Army. In his years of military service, he most enjoyed directing aircrafts on the flight deck where he began developing his love for airplanes. Following his service, Brian’s civilian career was in the automotive industry as a parts specialist working in dealership parts departments.

After returning home to Littleton Colorado, Brian rekindled a high school friendship with Sharon (MEM BOOK 2005) Kaiser (LHS 1966). Having both experienced prior marriages, divorce, having children, and different lived experiences they found joy in being together. Brian and Sharon got married June 1st, 1990, and spent their remaining 34 years, more in love each year than year before. Brian always introduced Sharon as his Bride everywhere they went and never stopped doting on his adoring wife and reminding her that he “loved her more”.

Brian was never bashful in sharing how much he loved his family including his Son Sean Kaiser (Deborah), Grandchildren Jacob Kaiser (Jaymie), Samantha Rhodes (Bryan), Morgan Kaiser and Ashton Kaiser , and Great Grandchildren Abigail (4), Kaitlyn (3), and Vincent (2).

Brian and Sharon spent their years together traveling and finding new places to wow them including many trips in the Colorado Rockies, Cruises to the Caribbean and Alaska and beach vacations in Mexico.

Brian will be missed by those who knew him for his authentic personality, stubborn nature, sense of humor and quick wit. Brian never met someone as a stranger and found joy in striking up conversation with just about anyone who crossed his path.

A visitation for Brian will be held Monday, May 13, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Olinger Hampden Mortuary, 8600 East Hampden Ave, Denver, CO 80231.

A funeral service will occur Tuesday, May 14, 2024 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM, 8600 East Hampden Ave, Denver, CO 80231.
