About	Linda Carol Rice, 75, passed away peacefully in Colorado Springs, Colorado on Wednesday, November 1, 2023. She made her debut into this world in Bellflower, California on Saturday, November 2, 1947, to Paul and Julia Fouchey. Linda was a woman of many talents and had a lot of passions in her life. Mostly, she was a photographer and licensed hairdresser. Linda was a guitar player and loved singing; she had a country voice that sounded like Patsy Cline. She always had a desire to take up yodeling and was natural at it. In her spare time, she was a master crocheter, quilter, avid reader, and Elvis's biggest fan. Linda was strong-willed and loved everyone she met with her whole heart. Her love will be dearly missed by all who know her. Linda was preceded in death by her father, Paul Courtney Fouchey; loving husband, Eugene I. Rice; and sister, Loretta Steves. Those left behind to cherish her love and memory are her mother, Julia Faye Fouchey (Ginther); her two sons, Donnie Bales and wife Lissa, Martin Kelly Bales and wife Paula; three sisters, Ellen Comer and husband Roger, Sharon Seibel and husband Bob, Paula Nims; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and many extended family and friends who will miss her dearly. Memorial Service, 1:00PM, Wednesday, November 22, 2023, The Springs Funeral Services, 3115 East Platte Avenue, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80909. Her niece, Sandra Winn, will officiate.
