About	Keith Simon DeFries was born on March 2, 1971 in Valparaiso, Indiana the son of Carroll & Margaret (Heitmeyer) DeFries. At the age of eight, he moved with his family to rural Royalton. Keith attended school in Little Falls and graduated with the Class of 1989. He attended college at St. John's in Collegeville, MN, St. Cloud State in St. Cloud, MN, and Northwestern Chiropractic College in Bloomington, MN where he graduated with a Doctorate of Chiropractic degree. Keith worked for a while in Indiana before moving back to Minnesota where he worked as a chiropractor in Glencoe, Parkers Prairie and Fergus Falls. Keith enjoyed the outdoors, especially Muskie fishing and his pet cats. He also loved playing guitar in his spare time. Left to cherish his memory are his parents, Carroll & Margaret DeFries of Royalton, MN; brothers, Martin DeFries of South St. Paul, MN and Dr. Kevin (Carol) DeFries of DeMotte, Indiana; nieces and nephews, Matthew DeFries, Angela DeFries and Mark DeFries all of Indiana and other relatives and friends.
