About Event

We are planning activities for the first week of August 2024. The main event will be a dinner reception on Thursday, August 1st from 6-10 pm at Chateau La Mer, a beautiful waterfront venue at the end of Wellwood Avenue in Lindenhurst. This evening will include an elegant buffet-style dinner, open bar, music, and dancing. We anticipate the cost of the dinner to be no greater than $150 per person.

The reunion will require much coordination by the committee to make it a memorable event. To book the catering facility (including a $1000 non-refundable deposit), we need a minimum of 100 expected attendees. We will not require any payment from you until August 2023 and will not consider your positive response as a guarantee that you will actually attend. We only need an indication from you as to whether you plan to attend the dinner and, if yes, as a couple or single. If you wish to stay in a hotel, we have negotiated a group rate with the Courtyard by Marriott in Farmingdale, including shuttle service to and from the Chateau La Mer.

At the current time, 54 classmates plus 33 guests have indicated that they will attend. We would love for you to join them. You are also encouraged to include any questions, comments, or suggestions regarding this "once in a lifetime" event. If you are interested in joining the organizing committee, please let us know.
