About	John passed March 3, 2016 in Chicago, IL. servces was held at The First New Mt. Olive M.B. Church Saturday March 12, 2016. John attended Lindblom and graduated in 1978, He later attended DeVry University and National Louis University majoring in Computer Science. At the time of his passing John was employed by the Walgreen Company. He also served as Assistant Vice President of his family's foundation, The Gread "Lefty" McKinnis Memorial Foundation. John was also Minister of Music for the First New Mt. Olive M.B. Church. John leaves to cherish his memory his mother, seven children, three grandchildren, three sisters, two brothers and a host of nieces and nephews, cousins and loved ones. John will dearly be missed
