Favorite School Memory | I was a geek so High school was not in my shining memory Kepper. But I really liked Spewech class with Mrs Pepper. It helped me to open up. |
About Me | I learned really quick how important an education is! I jioned the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in 1985. I attended Bryan Institute in Webster Groves and Graduated in 1986. I was hired from intership and spent 7 1/2 years at GHP a clinic HMO (they were big in the 80"s) I met my Husband Eleazar in June 1991, we were married in October that same year. Although it has been a bumpy ride on occasion we are still married 17 1/2 years later. I got my chance to teach in 1995, This was my dream goal and I taught back office / Laboratory Medical Assisting at Al-Med Acadamy for a year. I moved on to SSM in 1996. I spent 4 years with a OB/GYN. During these years my husband and I went through (unsuessful) infertility treatments. After being shot up with more hormaones than a commercially raise chicked I became sick and we called it quits. Ele said he'd rather be childless than me get that sick and chance losing me. So as a result we have the worst behaved dog and cat's because they are our babies. ( I would never allow a child to behave as badly as these boys do) I lost my Dad in 1998. Being a hard core Daddys girl I still have a hard time even 10 years later. I do miss him terribly. But my mom built a In-laws quarters on our house in 2002. It is a comfort to know she there and not have to worry about her. And the spoiled dog's I talked about...she's a HUGE part of that problem. she spoils the granddogs rotten. every thursday she goes to wal-mart and buy dog treat for them. Although we did have to put our hound dog mix to sleep last fall. His hips were bad and he had terrible arthritis. My "Pulgon" (spanish for "Big Flea")is terribly missed by all who knew him. We bought our happily ever after home in 2000 that same year I moved to a pediactric practice within SSM. In 2008 I went to Mercy Healthcare and I love it. The Sisters of Mercy have a better grounding in the corperation than the Sisters of St Mary was able to keep at SSM so we maintain our original mission goal so much stronger. I didn't think I would like internal medicine as much as I do but the doctors and staff are great and I have so much fun with thte 70-90 year olds, Plus I get the benefit of hearing great WW 2 and homefront stories as a result. To relax I sew all my "scrubs" office unifoorms and I am into quilting but curves still unnerve me. I also enjoy scrapbooking but not nearly as much as I like sewing. Thank you Ms. Guy for telling me "you have a great talent for sewing but you just don't take your time" I learned to take my time. ...(read more) |
