I served two years active duty. I was drafted in 1966. I served one year in Vietnam in the First Air Cavalry Division. I was a machine gunner, squad leader, and platoon sergeant. US Navy Hull Technician 2nd class, surface warfare. Currently stationed onboard USS Nimitz CVN-68, I will be retiring this August 2011 after 20 years service. My job consisted of welding, metal fabrication, and plumbing. I am also experianced in security work as well.

Proudly served as a U.S. AIR FORCE OFFICER at the U.S. Air Force Academy (CO), McConnell AFB (KS), Luke AFB (AZ) and other assignments. Member of Veterans Advisory Committee; Interveterans Memorial Day Service Committee (Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery), and other veterans organizations. I'm also a member of the Ellis Island/Statue of Liberty National Museum and Foundation (NYC) and the St. Louis City 250th Anniversary Steering Committee.
