About Me	After graduating from Lindbergh, I attended the University of Washington, where I majored in music history. Upon graduation I embarked on a graduate course of study in historical musicology at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. After completing my masters and doctoral degrees, I began post-doctoral work in library and information science at Indiana University, Bloomington; specializing in music librarianship and the application of technology to music collections. Upon completion of my formal education, I received my first academic appointment at Indiana State University. At the present time I serve as Head of the Arizona State University Music Library and I am also a member of a team of administrators who contribute to the overall management and planning of the University Libraries. My work is both challenging and rewarding, as ASU is a rapidly growing and evolving institution. Presently we are looking to the future and how the Libraries will be best positioned as to serve our constituencies. Related to my administrative work, I recently I spent time at Harvard University participating in their Leadership Institute, and I plan to return there in March to participate in their Advanced Leadership Institute. I also hope to travel to China in a yearÃ¢ï¿½ï¿½s time.
