I'd like to set up two fun group activities outside of the official reunion, for those making a weekend out of their trip - a dinner cruise on Navy Pier on Friday July 25, and a Cubs game in the afternoon on Sunday July 27.
The dinner cruise will give us the chance to get dressed up and enjoy the city on Friday evening, July 25, running from roughly 7 - 9:30 pm, so those who are able to make it can enjoy all that downtown Chicago has to offer on Friday, culminating with our dinner cruise, dancing, and amazing skyline views! Estimated cost is $150/person.
Saturday will be the main event - the reunion - from 3 pm to 9 pm. The heated pool will be open for those daring enough to show off their beach bods! We'll have games (if someone more creative than myself could step up to organize that aspect, please message me), putting green challenges with prizes, basketball court access with an action photographer snapping great shots, a DJ and a dance floor, karaoke, food, and drinks (6 drink tickets per person). I'll also give guided tours of the entire house! Cost is $150/person.
That will give everyone Saturday morning to recover from Friday evening, and time to explore a bit - I suggest https://www.chicagobotanic.org which is only 15 minutes from my place! The 3 pm start time should give those driving from Lincoln on Saturday plenty of time to get here to enjoy the party!
For those wishing to keep the festivities going past 9 pm, I'll be hosting an after party with open bar, where I'll open up some additional entertaining areas (cigar lounge, wine cellar, billiards room) for this smaller group in the main house from 9 pm to 1 am. We'll also keep the pool open, as long as we can be mindful of the noise to be considerate to my neighbors. Cost is $150/person.
Then, to round out our weekend, we can recover from an evening of partying by watching the Cubs play at the White Sox (at Rate field 333 W 35th St, Chicago, IL 60616; not at Wrigley unfortunately) on Sunday July 27 at 1:10 pm. Estimated cost is $75/person.
As I'm working with the venues to get us the best possible ticket prices, I need to get a pretty close idea as to the number of people that would attend the dinner cruise and the baseball game. To that end, PLEASE invite fellow class members to this Facebook page, and tell them about this event and these add-ons, so I can get the best indication of total interest. I'll also send information out through emails through www.alumniclass.com soon, but I don't want to double count people.

Lastly, I do have six rooms available to rent in the mansion. Priority would go to people staying for a full week, or if not many want to stay all week, a three night minimum. I'll rent these at cost, which is $700/day per room. Please email me if interested, jc@championspoint.com.
