About	Passed away Wednesday August 3, 2017 in Fort Walton Beach, Florida. He was born in 1944 in Lincoln, Nebraska to the late Dorsey Shirley (paternal) and Betty (Higgins) Shirley (maternal). Wes was a retired MSgt with 26 years combined service (Navy and Air Force). He enjoyed tinkering on automobiles and was an avid race fan of Dale Earnhardt Jr. Wesley also loved to ride his Honda Gold Wings motorcycle. Wesley is survived by his loving wife of 11 years Margaret Ackley-Shirley; son Wesley C. Shirley, Jr. (Michelle); daughter Elizabeth Turner (Bryan); stepson Ritchie Riley (Amber); brothers David Shirley (Kelly) and Ron Shirley (Charleen); grandchildren James Young, Jared Young, Dania Turner and Alexandra Shirley; and step-granddaughter Hannah Riley
