About	OBITUARY: ANITA PURDY Anita Maria Purdy, the daughter of Anne (Seidl) Purdy, was born at Stuttgart, Germany, on February 21, 1945, and passed away on July 1, 2022 at Central City, Nebraska at the age of 77. Anne Seidel married Sergeant Major M.L. Purdy of the 101st Airborne on May 10, 1952. When Maynard was transferred back to the U.S. the family first settled in Grand Island, NE. The family lived in Grand Island, NE, Ft. Riley, KS, the territory of Alaska and Lincoln, NE. Anita graduated from Lincoln Northeast High School. She attended University of Nebraska at Lincoln for 2 years. Anita worked for the University of Nebraska at Lincoln where she was involved with meetings and events and helped out with the Cornhusker football team on Saturdays. She also worked in Omaha for a bank. Her mother passed away on September 21, 2009. Anita then moved back to Hampton to help care for her father until his passing on October 4, 2012. For the last three years she has resided at Azria Health in Central City. Anita enjoyed sports of all kinds. She was preceded in death by her parents. Those who remain to cherish her memory are her cousins, Loretta Purdy Clark of Newport Beach, CA, Jerry Purdy of Camarillo, CA and Thais Plank Beams of Blacksburg, VA. Anita is also survived by other family members and close friends.
