| About Me | Oh gosh, published a few papers, traveled the world, joined the Army, joined the National Guard, starred in a TV commercial, starred in an independant film, spent a year fighting in Iraq -with Morrie Ceja of all people. I got a technical certificate in Electron Microscopy from Delta College and then transfered to UC Davis. I worked as a beekeeper at UCD for quite awhile. I also worked for the Center for Vector Borne Disease Research hunting down Western Equinie Encephalitis Virus in Califonria. I spent two summers mist-netting wild passerine birds. I published a paper in 1995 that describes a Mariner transposon in the Honeybee Genome. I worked a couple of years piloting boats up and down the Sacramento, San Joaquin, Mokelumne, American, and Feather Rivers. I was on ESPN Sports Center several times. Once at Safeco Field in Seattle when the A's beat the Mariners and then a couple of times while paddling my sea kayak in San Francisco Bay during the Giants games, once while I was dressed in an black sequenced Elvis jumpsuit, complete with wig, sideburns and sunglasses.
