Titled "ALL THERE IS - LOVE STORIES FROM STORYCORPS". So, go to WPR.ORG, then, on the right-hand side "Shop & Support This Station", THEN Amazon, if you want to actually order the book. WPR gets usually a few c donation on each sale. (Don't worry, nothng comes to me.) There are true "driveway moments" in that book ... but I consider our insignificant little piece (pg 49-52) more of a "sidewalk moment", truth be told. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- In February (2011), NPR's StoryCorps secured my permission to publish a portion of the story Kelly & I recorded last summer (2010) in a forthcoming book (of 50 said stories, called "Love Stories"), in time for 2012 Valentine's Day (probably a public radio fundraiser). So, I said "yes". Following that, I called & asked Kelly's permission. Her response - "Do you really need any more media attention?" Then, in March, a different producer called for my permission to air the (appx. 3 minute) segment about our 1st date (which aired, 3/11, during NPR's "Morning Edition"). Of course, I had called & asked Kelly, who, in turn asked, "did we really need any more media exposure"? (And this time it was world-wide.) I'll admit, it's no "driveway moment", but thought you'd enjoy. Kelly's the better storyteller, obviously.
