In junior high Mike always called me "mod man" due to how I dressed at the time. The last time we saw each other was at a bar/lounge in summer of '84 when I came to visit my parents. I appreciated all the drinks he bought us, but after an hour, I realized we did not have much in common, including politics, sports, drinks, music, work, and even women. We both did like to fish and hunt, but that was about it. He was all about the family business. He never mentioned if he was married or about his close friends in school. We left on very good terms.
