1968 Vietnam combat veteran.
Trained in electronics but did very little work in that field. Filled a lot of sandbags, burned human waste, pulled guard duty, dodged rockets rode shotgun for the mail truck driver in Saigon..
Stateside they made me guard prisoners and go on a prisoner retrieval.
i remember my service number and the expression FTA.
I had photos of me in Vietnam but somehow they all got lost.
