| About Me | I got married in '70 and spent that first year in Hawaii...moved back to WA and spent the next 26 years raising a family. We (the kids and I) finally found the courage to file for a divorce. I worked for a few years as an admin. asst./ payroll clerk and then went to work for a friend selling commercial refrigeration parts. I didn't think I'd like customer service, but found that I love it. I work with the techs from most of the local HVAC companies and they're the best! I met my second husband Herb about 19 years ago and we've been together since then. We finally got married in 2013. Herb has FTD/PPA...a terminal brain disorder. I retired last year so that I could care for him full time. I also care for my 2 youngest grandkids 3 days a week. That plus my 2 rescue dogs and my 2 cockatoos really keeps me busy. Update.....My Herb passed peacefully in my arms here at home March of 2021. He has made it possible for me to follow my dreams and get the horse I've always wanted. Now I foster 2 special needs mini horses, own a huge Appy and a POA, and along with my brother-in-law have rescued a neglected retired Thoroughbred.
