About	After High School, Luke went on to college, graduating from Mineral Area College after two years there. Luke was a member of Phi Theta Kappa at Mineral Area. He then went on to College of the Ozarks graduating with his Bachelor of Science Degree in Business/Marketing. Luke was living in Ft. Smith, Ar. at the time of his passing. He was a corporate buyer for Boyd Metals and had just received a promotion in which he would be working on the marketing side of the company. He was to move to Little Rock that December following his death. He was very proud of the company that he worked for. He was single and had no children. Luke had a massive stroke while in for an Alumni basketball game. He was at the gym practicing shooting when he had the stroke. He was flown to Mercy Hospital, but never recovered.
