Homemade birthday cards and too many get well cards. I am from weddings and funerals; the only thing they ever cared about was how good you look. I guarantee it. I am from cliche eighties movies, walking into the sunset, holding the hand of the one boy in town that loved me more than anyone else. He was the boy I couldn't have and no one wanted me to be with. I am from pop culture and caring too much... about everything and everyone, even if they don't care about me. I am from wishes and glitter and neon and anything else that makes someone feel like they stand out from a crowd. Like they might be a "Someone." I am from a small town, where everyone knows your name, and all the things you've done, and all the things you plan to do, and everything that's happened to you. But never the things you didn't do.
