Coached the Hudson Valley Hawks in a semi-pro league called the National professional Basketball league. Sam played junior college Delhi, and division 2 basketball at Mansfield University. and had free agent tryouts with the washington Bullets and New Jersey Nets. Sam coached at Liberty and played at Liberty. Sam was a 2 time basketball mvp and the first recipent of the Ivan Richards award. Sam was all league and county for 2 years. Sam is currently working as a recreation therapist and attending college at Grand Canyon University for his Bachelors in Sports Management and currently has a associate degree in that area.
