Save Libbey:Act NOW

NOW Libbey is on the chopping block again. This Tuesday March 23rd is the Toledo Public Schools Board of Education Meeting where decisions will be made.
Time: 5:30 p.m.-8:30 p.m (Get there as early as you can)
Place: Thurgood Marshall Bldg., 420 E. Manhattan Blvd. Meetings are open to the public.

If you choose to speak at this meeting you need to contact them in advance: To speak before the Board, please contact the TPS Treasurer, Dan Romano, at the Thurgood Marshall Bldg.before noon on the meeting day. Call 419-671-8245. You will be asked to identify yourself, any organization you represent, and the topic you wish to speak about. At the meeting, you may want to provide15 copies of any material for distribution. Your presentation should be no longer than 3 minutes
Please keep the message going.Libbey needs to be bolstered with an all out effort to the Board of Education with emails and/ or letters (but emails will get there quicker). I am asking you to share this message with everyone you know ever connected to the school or the neighborhood. Share a positive message as to why Libbey an inner city urban southend school should be kept open. Emphasize anything positive that you currently know of or possible solutions. Make it short and sweet.

100's of Edelians need a home!

We the 2007-2008 Edelian staff would like to invite you to adopt an Edelian. We have every year since 1924 except for, '33,'35,'40,'41,'62,'65,'70,'82 &'85. These books need a loving home and not to be locked away. The adoption fee for a book is a flat $40 plus $5 shipping via USPS media mail. You can also see our Listing on Ebay.
