About Me	I wish peace and joy to everyone. I'm enjoying my retirement years, still learning. and still caring about friends - including family - and the rest of the world. I'm semi-retired, choosing to do some volunteer and part-time work.... Those things help me to feel connected to the bigger world. Then I'm very thankful to get back to my peaceful home, grateful for my mellow-fellow home companions: Bob and Catkin and for my friends and family, near and far (NC, TN, PA, NY, NJ, VT, TX, OK, GA.) Facebook helps me keep in touch with my extended family. I graduated from Lewisburg Area High School in Pennsylvania and Penn State. I sometimes teach computer, artist's way, and "Exploring Asheville - on Foot" courses at UNC-Asheville's NC Center for Creative Retirement - College for Seniors (retirees). Since retirement from IBM, I've also had part-time jobs at the Lewis Rathbun Center (for families of patients in area hospitals and at rehab and Solace hospice), Biltm...(read more)
