Terry died in a aviation accident northwest of California City, CA. The accident occurred during a flight of an Aero Vodochody L39 aircraft which was being used in filming a motion picture. Terry lived for many years in Tallahassee, FL where he and his wife had a successful realty business. He has two sons.
