Cameron A. Diaz, 23, of Galveston, passed away at 5:00 p.m. Friday, January 5, 2018 at his home. He was born February 9, 1994 in Kokomo, IN to Ken and Heather (Hamilton) Diaz.
Cameron graduated from Lewis Cass High School in 2012 and attended IUPUI. He was a member of Phi Delta Theta Fraternity and enjoyed kayaking, fly fishing, concerts and the Indianapolis Colts.
He is survived by his parents, Ken and Heather Diaz, Galveston, IN; his sisters, Jordan (Emerson) Bowling, Brynna Diaz and Hallie Diaz all of Galveston. He is also survived by his best friend Audia Childers, Maternal Grandparents, Richard and Patricia Hamilton, Galveston, Paternal Grandmother, Maggie (Dick) Dewitt, Kokomo, IN; and Maternal Great Grandmother, Claudia (Lisle) Morris of Galveston. Also surviving is his aunt Melainie (Matt) Hardin, cousins Brooke and Maison Hardin, Kokomo and Cody (Hannah) Hardin of Chesapeake, VA, as well as his aunt Megan (Walter) Bennett & cousins Cale, Evan, Beau & Chloe Bennett of Pierceton, IN. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather Jesse Diaz, and uncle Heath Hamilton.
