My fellow Tigers - as your beloved class President I am more than a bit embarrassed to say that I won’t be with you at this reunion as I am part of a wedding taking place in Walla Walla that has been in the works for over a year. Hard as it is to believe, I couldn’t get them to move their wedding nor the committee to move the reunion.

As you gather the now dwindling number of our classmates please take a moment to appreciate what we can now see with increasing clarity as the wonderful moment in time that we came of age at LC. The experiences that we had are simply not possible today and these and the next generations kids will never know the joys of being unreachable by cell phone, cruising the gut, dances at Grafmillers Barn, the golden era or rock and roll and in many ways the more innocent times we lived through.

As we are now all coming down the home stretch of life I encourage everyone to find your own way to sprint to the finish line. The point is not to tiptoe softly to the end but slide into home plate having gone full throttle to the end. Let your stories be of your adventures not your regrets. Don’t sit around and talk about your ailments, talk about your next goals, what are you now passionate about. What is on the far horizon for you? Make it great, be sure you are home by 9:00, and don’t dwell on the fact that 9:00 is when things used to start! :)

See you next time! Chris Majer

In a month from today, we will be joining to celebrate our 55th reunion. Here are a couple of thoughts from someone many of us admire and who you will see there:

“Our reunions give me time to reconnect with old friends and to see and visit with classmates that I haven't seen in a long time! As I age, it is always wonderful to reminisce about the good old days at LC and to share our lives today.” Linda Takami

The registration deadline is July 6th, so just TWO and ONE HALF weeks for you to sign up!

Reunion Apparel

The class of 1969 experienced history on a regular basis: The Summer of Love, the Tet Offensive, Nixon's rise to power, The Beatles' creative peak... very few spans of time can claim to have shaped American culture as much as the late 60's, and you & your Lewis And Clark High School classmates experienced it together.

Now as you and your fellow Tigers prepare to enjoy retirement it's the perfect time to reunite and share where life has brought you in the last five decades. Your reunion is scheduled and AlumniClass is your spot for arranging travel plans, ordering custom Tigers merchandise to show off your school spirit, and connect with classmates ahead of time.
