Riccardo (Richard) Vargas class of 81

Richard Vargas was recently promoted to the rank of Lt Col in the US Air Force and is headed back to the Middle East for his fourth deployment. Richard completed 20 + years of active duty in the Army and Air Force respectively and although recently called back on active duty, he is a civilian intelligence analyst with the Department of Defense. He is also a university professor, married with two adult children and a Bronze Star Medal recipient earned during Operation Iraqi Freedom in 2009.
