About	Duane died in 2016, I believe it was in Aug. of 2016. I am a good friend of his and he was such a wonderful, caring loving christian. He loved people and duane was divorced with three sons that live in hawaii. Duane was married for 20 years to a wonderful lady. I am Maureen Ware Stump and I had talked to Duane twice a week and we kept in touch with each other for about 7 years. I have known Duane for over 40 years but lost contact with him while he was in the service and got married. Then returned to Calif. and Duane lived in Oceanside and loved it there. My husband and I went to Duane's house and he was so excited to see me after all of these years and he took myself and my husband all over Oceanside and then went to lunch. Duane's death was a sock to every one and when it happen he had called me and I was there through his whole event of his cancer but it got so bad there was no way they could save him. I tried to reach him in his last week of living and finally when someone answered the phone it was his son Curtis from and I had to ask if I could speak to Diane and his response was my dad died this morning and I said who is this which it was his son then he told me again my dad died this morning. I started crying because I did not get to say anything to him before his passing. Duane now is with the good Lord with no more pain and is with his brother Bruce Horka which died around 9 years ago. Just thought I would share that with you.
