About Me	I am over a year without booze. I like the feeling. Spent nine months at the Bridges of Hope, a recovery center in Homerville, Ga. It is there that I got honest. There that regained hope, composure, humility, and a host of other emotions that were hidden behind the veil of alcohol. My brother Jeff died while I was there, last Dec. 19th. Now I am staying with my 95 year old Mother who needs me. No one else is able to be here for her. I owe her that, no matter how frustrating it gets at times. Now, Mom is in the Hospital going to have surgery Thursday, July 18th. It is minor, short procedure, but whenever a 95 year old has surgery, it is a concern.
