Events	Doug came to Fla to hang with Scott Grizey and I in 1978..we both moved to Tampa Fl to open auto body repair shops, 3 in total & a used car lot...we had great success and great times. It never seemed like work when your in business and makeing lots of $ when your doing it with one of your oldest friends !! I got out of 'repair business' and opened a custom car & motorcycle shop while Doug went back into his family business of new car sales for several years..we still stayed best friends and had 'nothin but good times' till Doug move back to Lenox and we lost touch..several years later i called his old phone # and learned from his dad he had passed..but knowing Doug as i did..i would bet money..he went out with a smile on his face..R.I.P. Bierbaum...ill see you and Grizey when i get there..cause im sure we're all going to the same place...!!!??? ;)

Last car Doug saw me building before he headed back up north...wish you were still around when we took it to the track and blew the doors off all the compitition..you woulda loved it...fast cars..good times..our 2 favorite things since we were 16 yrs old !!!
